Peyton and Byrne offer everything the studious academic or passing visitor could need at The British Library. Our main attraction – the stunning first floor King’s Library self-service restaurant – opens from dawn til dusk and serves everything from hearty breakfasts to hot lunches (including made-to-order stir-frys from our Wok Station) and afternoon teas (from 3pm).

For quicker stops there are also two lovely Peyton and Byrne cafés – on the ground floor and in the main courtyard – where you can grab a tea, coffee, sandwich or cake throughout the day.
