Supper Club with Maunika Gowardhan
Born and brought up in Mumbai, India, Maunika Gowardhan is a popular food writer and Indian chef living in the UK. Maunika will be hosting an intimate dinner of dishes from her debut cooking book ‘Indian Kitchen’ on Friday 26th January, at The National Café, set within the iconic National Gallery.
Our team will be recreating Maunika’s chosen dishes from her cookbook in a convivial setting with Q&A and book signing on the evening. Maunika cooks up scrumptious meals as a private chef for discerning diners globally. Her cooking reflects her tastes – home cooked, comforting meals showcasing how fabulous regional Indian food can be when you begin with fresh ingredients. A frequent guest chef on TV, radio and cookery demos, she has collaborated with chefs at Jamie’s Fifteen and also launched Indian cookery classes at Jamie Oliver’s Cookery School. She has cooked with renowned chef Heston Blumenthal for his Great British Food series on Channel 4.
For £60 per person you will served a four course tasting menu, with wine pairing to compliment the dinner on the evening.
