Conferences at the British Library

The Conference Centre at the British Library underwent a refurbishment during the early months of 2011 and is now proud to present itself as a world-class conferencing facility.

The modernised auditorium can accommodate up to 255 delegates, with facilities for simultaneous translation, film, sound and video presentation. In addition, there are five comfortable and individually designed meeting rooms allowing for 80 to 100 delegates. All rooms have natural daylight, electronic blackout blinds, climate control and sound proofing. Our experienced AV team will also be on-hand to offer technical support to ensure seamless delivery. The Conference Centre can also be used for a range of formal events, such as product launches, lectures and private screenings.

The British Library Conference Centre is in close proximity to the Eurostar Terminal at St. Pancras International  and within easy walking distance of Euston and  Kings Cross railway stations and six tube lines. The sophisticated space is therefore ideally located in the centre of London’s extensive transportation network.

I would like to say a big thank you to you and your team for the way that you looked after us yesterday at our annual conference.

The venue is superb and your team equally so. Jose looked after us brilliantly and Ed and Tom did a great job at the bar and serving canapés. Our survey scored you as 100% excellent or very good.

Rupert Miles, Jan 2015
